My Short Stories:

After retirement, I started doing some creative stuff for self-therapy. Here are links to my published short stories.

My Silent Guitar: (February 2024)

Another personal essay about my lifetime search for the future. I ended up choosing "safe" in my youth. And in my golden years, I resumed my search using my love of guitar as my vehicle.

Dread of Circumcision, Dreams of Cabbage: (March 2022)

This is my story about trust. At age five, during my circumcision, I learned not to trust others. At age fourteen, I planted an entire field of cabbage for my financial freedom and that taught me not to trust myself. Both lessons gave me the inoculation I needed against excessive trust for the rest of my life.

Searching for My Baby Sister: (February/March 2022)

This is a tribute to strong and determined women in my early childhood, with a plot twist to a recent event.  This was my submission to their annual contest. I was happy that it was on the list of four "Special Considerations" stories; an honourable and cherished place for me as an emerging writer.

A Gold Bug: (November 2021)

A story of why I started liking this yellow metal as a little child, which led me -years later- to a friend, who made me love the English language, which led me to enjoy writing.

My First Night: (September 2021)
